CANCER TREATMENTS

Cancer can be an exhausting opponent that spares no one nor sees social status. India is a leading researcher in cancer treatments. However. These treatments do not come simply, but with a huge finacial burden. This burden becomes all the more heavy on the shoulders who are in underprivileged circles. Old age citizens are not covered by any form of medical insurance.

Dream Sparks is working to provide affordable chemotherapy treatments for the needies, and also create palliative care centers for those in their final stages of battle against cancer. For this purpose, Dream Sparks is teaming up with various lucrative cancer hospitals and partners, to deliver quality care and counseling to the needies.

CATARACT SURGERIES

Cataract is the leading cause of blindness in India with the majority of the victim population being the elderly and the underprivileged. Leading a life with blindness strips people of their abilities, leaving them vulnerable to an already vicious life

Partnering with credible eye care centers and hospitals, Dream Sparks is dedicated to providing quality cataract treatments and eye surgeries for the needies and the underprivileged at the base hospitals, enabling them with the will to live and move on.

BLOOD DONATION DRIVE

Blood is a vital and crucial source of life and cannot be substituted or artificially recreated. Several people die daily from blood loss and related injuries. And therefore the safe collection and provision of blood is of utmost, life-saving importance.

Dream Sparks sets up blood donation drives at various accessible areas for people to donate blood safely under the care of specialists. Each contribution off blood is used judiciously for the benefit of the underprivileged and thus awaiting treatment at the most remote areas.

PHYSIOCARE FOR THE ELDERLY

Under the Physiocare initiative, Dream Sparks assists the elderly with general movement issues that may be caused due to arthritis and related diseases of the muscular system.

The elderly are often challenged with mobility issues, and Dream Sparks offers a helping hand in the form of physiotherapy treatments, setting up mobile services or having a physiotherapist do a residential visit.

EDUCATION AND WELFARE

It may take a village to raise a child, however, there are thousands of young children who are raised to do hard labour with the future hanging bleak over them, in the underprivileged realm of rural Bangalore. Here are families with no knowledge of family planning, the importance of education and the potential they hold.

Dream Sparks Foundation is committed to assisting these young children by providing basic needs for education, and an opportunity to discover their hidden potential, and dream of a conceivable future in the real world.

GREEN FINGERS

Dream Sparks Foundation is dedicated to promoting green practices and fostering a deeper connection with nature. Through our initiatives, we aim to inspire individuals to become stewards of the environment, cultivating a love for nature and a commitment to sustainable living.

It is undeniable that the loss of biodiversity has had an adverse effect on the climate, as the year 2024 was recorded to be the hottest year in history. Small changes and actions can gradually reverse the long-standing effects of global warming, to an extent.

CLEAN-UP DRIVE

Lakes carry a lot of significance, especially, historical significance, and enrich the environment through their own ecosystems. Keeping these lakes open to visitors has adversely affected the ecosystem, with visitors disregarding the cleanliness policy and human intervention pushing away the local fauna.

With the clean-up drive initiative, Dream Sparks carries out the task of clearing up our lakes and the surrounding parks of plastic and other wastes, and to decrease the human touch in these natural areas. With the clean-up, the team anticipates decreased soil erosion around the lake which would largely help the flora of the ecosystem, and an improvement in the quality of the water and increased numbers in the wildlife habitat as well

WATER TANKS

The outskirts of Bangalore is home to many vegetative and industrial sites and access unprotected water ponds, tanks, wells and cisterns. With the lack of rains, there has been a tremendous shortage of water and has affected the lifestyles of all propel especially those at the outskirts of Bangalore.

The Water Tanks project by Dream Sparks is designed to set up water tanks that provide high-pressure water to the surrounding areas, while also harvesting rain water and creating a reservoir which can be used through distribution, for drinking, irrigation and bathing.

OLD AGE HOMES

Today’s “quick” society does not provide for the emotional and physiological needs of the elderly at their own pace and place. Hence, the arrival of old age homes.

Dream Sparks has set up senior homes to care for the sick, destitute and abandoned elderly, providing them care, a roof over their heads and the company and relaxation they need at their age. These homes are designed to be barrier-free and accessible to everyone regardless of their ability.
